The Russell School wishes to appoint an inspirational, talented and hardworking teaching and learning assistant who is ready to make a difference to our children. The Russell School is an extremely popular and very successful one-form entry primary school with a warm and caring ethos. We are searching for a passionate and dedicated person to join our staff team. We require someone who is:Experienced in working with children across KS1 and KS2Able to work with children with a range of additional needsAble to manage the behaviours which often accompany such needsWilling to work closely with staff and professionals as part of our class and staff teamsAble to communicate with all members of the school communityWe offer:Highly motivated and enthusiastic children who are keen to learn, behave well and love their schoolA dynamic, talented and fun staff team who are committed to our childrenA mentor to support your start with us at The RussellA welcoming school community with a strong values-led ethosHighly supportive parents and Governing BodyA beautiful new building ready for learning in the 21st CenturyThe experience of being co-located with a progressive Special Needs schoolThis will be a temporary contract linked to EHCP funding.The Russell School is wholly committed to safeguarding and to promoting the welfare of all children; we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
