Do you have a passion for inclusive education and ensuring the best outcomes for all children? If so, we are looking for an enthusiastic Inclusion Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with children, has a passion for learning and will put the needs of our children first. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be committed to making a difference to children’s lives.
We are looking for flexible and confident team players who have experience of working with children with a range of needs both within the classroom and on a one-to-one basis. The job involves supporting children 1:1 and in small groups and working in partnership with a range of staff across the school
At Whitehall Primary School, we are looking for a resilient, dedicated and enthusiastic Inclusion Teaching Assistant to specifically support behaviour, working with our most vulnerable children and supporting them to settle back into learning in the classroom. You will be supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing by using co-regulation strategies to enable them to access learning in the classroom. You will also, on occasion, cover classes across the school.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with children with special educational needs and ideally experience of working with children with a range of SEMH and behaviour needs.
Understands the importance of structure, high expectations, and nurture in helping young people thrive.
Enthusiastic, reliable and able to work well as part of a team.
Able to develop positive relationships and liaise effectively with parents and carers as well as other outside agencies
Able to work independently under the direction of the Inclusion Lead, SENDCO and class teachers.
