Our client is seeking an Associate Electrical Design Engineer to join their Building Services team. This is a senior-level position, ideal for someone ready to take ownership of projects and lead electrical design delivery within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. You will play a key role in managing client relationships, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring technical excellence across all stages of design.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
- Significant experience in electrical building services design, ideally 8+ years, with proven leadership responsibilities.
- Strong proficiency in design software such as Amtech, Dialux, Revit, and AutoCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations and standards (e.g., BS7671, CIBSE).
- Ability to lead projects, manage resources, and deliver to deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of building strong client relationships.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
