About the role

  • 12 month temporary contract
  • This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • The base location for this role is Greggs House, Newcastle upon Tyne, with flexibility for frequent travel to Kettering and potentially other Supply sites.

What you’ll do

  • Play a vital role in the design & testing of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • Attend & contribute to workshops ensuring system design matches the departments needs
  • Develop and execute test scripts for SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC modules & SAP IBP
  • Identify, document, and track defects using Azure Dev Ops test management solution
  • Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage captures Supply Chain Planning
  • Support with the integration of the new planning systems and interim process\' within the department, ensuring availability is maintained throughout the transition
  • Support change management initiatives by promoting user adoption and confidence in SAP IBP
  • Ensure supporting documentation is produced and made accessible for the team to support with implementation

About you

You will fit right into this role if you:

  • Have a strong understanding of SAP Planning modules

  • Good understanding of Supply Chain Planning processes

  • Experience of working in a programme environment

  • Can multi-task and work with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales

  • Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative

  • Have proven high levels of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Have advanced Excel skills to support with analysis and the ability to work with large data sets

  • Able to engage and work collaboratively with other teams to make improvements to processes and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Have advanced IT skills including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams

  • A good communicator, able to operate at all levels clearly and concisely with the proven ability to communicate complex data terminology so it is understood by the data owner and the business
