A leading Further Education college in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Assessor to support the delivery and assessment of apprentices both on campus and in the workplace. This is a part-time, 6-month temporary contract, offering flexibility on which two days per week are worked.
- Assess Electrical Installation apprentices in the workplace and at college
- Conduct observations, professional discussions, and portfolio assessments
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain accurate assessment records in line with awarding body requirements
- Work closely with teaching teams, employers, and learners to support achievement
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation
- Assessors Award (TAQA, A1, or D32/33) - essential
- 18th Edition qualification - desirable
- Experience assessing electrical apprentices in FE or work-based learning
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards and competency-based assessment
- Enhanced DBS
