When you join Your Trust as a Café Supervisor Assistant you will be part of a charity based across the Rochdale Borough that aims

Salary: Band 3, £25,040 - £28,252 per annum (pro-rate for part time hours)

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Heywood Civic




What will my role be as a Café Supervisor?

The purpose of the job is to provide a professional, efficient and high quality service to customers of Your Trust. This includes
using your excellent customer service skills to be the face of our catering operations at Heywood Civic and other sites as
requires by providing an effective service such as preparing food and drink for table and counter service, serving food and drink,
advising customers, taking payments, handling cash and banking procedures and managing food hygiene and health and safety.




What do I need to have?

* Qualified to Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or demonstrate commitment and ability to achieve within 3-6 months
* Hold Food Allergy and Intolerance Certificate or demonstrate commitment and ability to achieve within 3-6 months
* Hold Emergency First Aid or demonstrate commitment and ability to achieve within 3-6 months
* Previous experience of working in a food and beverage environment
* Previous experience of working at a supervisory level
* Previous experience of cash handling and cashing up
* Friendly, outgoing person who likes to work with different customers
* Ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders, partners and members of the public
* Ability to set targets, motivate and inspire staff to achieve targets
* Ability to follow laid down procedures, work under pressure and without constant supervision
* Knowledge of computerised tills
* Ability to use own initiative and think commercially to support the development of the service
* Awareness of food allergens including training on Natasha’s Law, PPDS labelling requirements and FIC Regulations 2021
* Good level of numeracy skills and ability to handle cash
* Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent time management skills
