Parkside Pre-school, a popular and well-regarded setting in Chingford, is seeking a Practitioner to join our pool of part-time staff. The role involves providing cover to maintain ratios during staff training, meetings, sickness, non-contact time, one-to-one support with children, and our lunch club.
You will be joining a friendly and supportive team in our purpose-built accommodation, working with children aged 2–4 years. Sessions run during term time only, for 3.5 hours between 8.45am and 3.45pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8.45am–12.15pm on Fridays, with occasional lunch club-only shifts. Cover is often required at short notice. While we cannot guarantee hours, pool staff frequently work several sessions each week.
About You
We are looking for competent, reliable individuals who:
• Are flexible, responsible, and happy to support the team wherever needed
• Understand the importance of confidentiality
• Have knowledge of safeguarding and a commitment to equal opportunities
• Enjoy working with young children and understand their developmental needs
Essential:
• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
Desirable:
• Experience in a similar setting
• Current First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates
How to Apply
Email parksidepreschoole4@gmail.com or call 020 3609 7557 to request an application form and further details.
