Crynodeb
The role will involve ensuring the ward is tidy, cleaning of general and specialist medical equipment such as defibrillators, moving and handling equipment such as hoists and our nurse workstations. You will also be required to tidy the patient bed areas, clean beds when patients leave and general environmental cleaning. We also expect you to support the nursing staff to oversee food and drink service. You will be the designated Fire Warden for the area. Experience in a hospital setting is not essential as full training is provided. Our housekeeping team provide cover across seven days per week between the hours of 07:00-19:00. You will be expected to work shifts during this time. We are looking for an individual who has a flexible and responsive approach to their working day. Someone who has excellent patient care and service at their heart, who is motivated to support the clinical staff to assist in a smooth and efficient service for our patients.We need you to be able to chat to our patients, to take direction from our nursing staff and to work on your own initiative. You will need to be able to adapt in any situation and have a good attention to detail. Our housekeeping team is key to our patients and their experience, and we want you to help us achieve this.
