The Company & Project:
We are representing a leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor, and we are urgently seeking a skilled and experienced 360 Excavator Operators to join our team on a major new wind turbine project in Pontypridd.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-profile, renewable energy project that is shaping the future. We are looking for a reliable and professional operator to play a key role in the initial groundworks and site development phase.
The Role:
As a 360 Excavator Operator, you will be a crucial part of the on-site team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
· Operating a 360-degree excavator to perform precise digging, trenching, and earthmoving tasks.
· Assisting with the preparation of foundations for the new wind turbines.
· Working from engineering drawings and to site specifications.
· Conducting general site strip and levelling.
· Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently, adhering to company and industry regulations.
· Performing daily checks and basic maintenance on your machine.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
· Proven experience as a 360 Excavator Operator, preferably on large-scale construction or civil engineering projects.
· A valid CPCS or NPORS card is essential.
· Experience working on renewable energy or wind farm projects is highly desirable.
· A strong understanding of health and safety protocols on a busy construction site.
· The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow site foreman instructions.
· A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
