Crynodeb
As a Financial Governance Accountant, you will be instrumental in strengthening the organisation’s financial control framework.
You will lead policy creation and establish a robust governance framework for the reporting function. Within this role you will develop and implement mechanisms to monitor adherence to the policies, whist fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
As a dedicated resource for documenting and formalising processes, this role will aid in strengthening the way the Business reports internally and externally. Collaboration with various financial stakeholders and the wider Business will be required. This will encompass communicating changes, gathering feedback and ensure understanding and departmental buy-in.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
Qualifications
• ACCA/ CIMA or ACA qualified.
• Advanced Excel skills, with familiarity in Macros and AI Chatbots is preferred.
• An ethical and integrity-driven approach to all aspects of your work.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong business relationships across departments.
• A highly driven and proactive mindset, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Additional information
• Maintaining financial oversight and governance of management reporting to drive consistency across the Reporting team.
• Taking ownership of the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the SharePoint process.
• Managing the entire lifecycle of financial policies from inception and approval through to communication, implementation and periodic updates.
• Collaborating with various internal stakeholders across the Finance Function and wider Business.
