Are you an experienced Payroll professional looking for your next challenge? Brightwork are supporting our highly respected global manufacturing organisation as they continue to develop their payroll function. This is a rare opportunity to join a collaborative and friendly team, working in a hybrid capacity from their Cumbernauld site.
As the Payroll Administrator you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of both UK and overseas payolls. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external payroll providers, helping drive smooth and compliant payroll operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and process monthly UK payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance and adherence to deadlines.
• Provide data, reconciliations and insight to support overseas payroll providers.
• Manage payroll adjustments including overtime, shift allowances and statutory deductions (PAYE, NI, pensions, etc.).
• Submit statutory filings such as RTI and support overseas statutory submissions via third-party providers.
• Produce detailed payroll reports for management, auditors and finance, ensuring all payroll accounts reconcile correctly.
• Act as the first point of contact for UK payroll queries, delivering excellent internal customer service.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance - domestically and internationally - to maintain accurate data and alignment across processes.
About You
• Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Confident working with payroll systems and reconciling complex pay data.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to support colleagues at all levels.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a proactive approach.
