Summary
We are recruiting reliable and hardworking cleaners to join our team on HS2 and other live construction sites across the Midlands and wider UK. This is a vital role in maintaining safe, hygienic, and compliant environments on some of the country’s largest infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out general cleaning duties across site areas, including welfare facilities, offices, and construction zones
• Ensure waste removal and disposal is completed safely and in line with site procedures
• Maintain high standards of hygiene to support health, safety, and compliance requirements
• Assist with specialist cleaning tasks where required (e.g., chemical cleaning, high-level cleaning)
• Work collaboratively with site teams to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
• Follow all site rules, inductions, and health & safety protocols
Essential Requirements
• Valid CSCS card (Green Labourer card for general cleaning; Blue Skilled Worker card for specialist cleaning roles)
• Successful completion of the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test
• Commitment to health and safety standards and compliance regulations
• Ability to work effectively in busy, fast-paced construction environments
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness
Desirable Skills & Experience
• NVQ Level 2 Certificate/Diploma in Cleaning and Support Services Skills (for Blue Skilled Worker card applicants)
• Previous experience working on live construction sites or large infrastructure projects and previous cleaning experience is required
• Knowledge of safe waste handling and specialist cleaning techniques
