An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic within a leading car garage in Chertsey.
Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
Benefits:
- Competitive basic salary of around £45,000 per annum depending on experience
- Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - no weekends!

Duties:
- Conducting vehicle diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles, including high-performance models
- Rebuilding engines and gearboxes with precision and care
- Performing mechanical repairs and maintenance to the highest standards
- Completing electrical and electronic fault finding
- Taking engine components apart and working through complex mechanical procedures
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer specifications
Requirements:
- Proven experience in automotive repairs and diagnostics
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in engine and gearbox rebuilds
- Competence in electronic fault diagnosis
- Qualified Motor Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Experience with motorsport or high-performance vehicles is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Reliable, motivated, and committed to quality workmanship
- Full UK driving licence
The salary of this role is up to £45,000 basic.
Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - no weekends!
