Overview
An established contractor is seeking a skilled and qualified Mobile Electrician to carry out electrical upgrades, testing, repairs, and full property rewires across void and mixed-tenure properties within Hertfordshire and parts of North London. The role will primarily cover Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield, supporting kitchen & bathroom upgrades and full electrical refurbishment works.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out full electrical upgrades and rewires in local authority properties.
- Support kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, completing all associated electrical works.
- Perform electrical installations to current regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct testing, inspection, and certification in accordance with 2391 or equivalent requirements.
- Diagnose electrical faults and complete remedial repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed within SLA targets and to a high-quality standard.
- Maintain accurate documentation, certificates, and reports using company systems.
- Liaise professionally with tenants, supervisors, and office staff.
- Work independently across multiple sites in a mobile capacity.

Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- City & Guilds electrical qualifications (or equivalent).
- 2391 Test & Inspection (or equivalent qualification).
- 18th Edition wiring regulations.
- Strong experience working in domestic or social housing environments.
- Competent in full rewires, upgrades, and testing.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Previous experience in void property works.
- Experience in local authority or housing association settings.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
