Summary
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Remedial Works Operative to join our maintenance team. You’ll be responsible for carrying out corrective repairs and minor construction tasks across residential, commercial, or public properties to ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform remedial repairs including carpentry, plastering, tiling, and basic plumbing
• Identify and rectify defects following inspections or audits
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and materials used
• Liaise with supervisors and clients to report progress and issues
Requirements
• Proven experience in general building maintenance or remedial works
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of building regulations and safety standards
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
• CSCS card or equivalent (desirable)
