We are seeking a reliable and skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to maintain pathways and hedges across public and private outdoor spaces. This role is essential to ensuring safe, tidy, and visually appealing environments for pedestrians and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
Path Maintenance:
• Inspect and clear pathways of litter, moss, weeds, and debris.
• Pressure wash, sweep, and edge hard surfaces.
• Carry out minor repairs such as patching, levelling, and edging.
• Report trip hazards, drainage issues, or surface damage.
Hedge Maintenance:
• Prune, trim, and shape hedges (including laurel and other species) to maintain healthy growth and appearance.
• Remove dead or diseased branches and manage seasonal growth.
• Clear hedge bases and surrounding areas of weeds and waste.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and powered equipment (e.g., hedge trimmers, strimmer's).

Requirements
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred.
• Familiarity with hedge care and hard surface cleaning techniques.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good physical fitness and attention to detail.
• Understanding of health and safety practices.
• Full UK driving licence may be required for mobile roles.
