The Best Connection Group - Manchester is recruiting - We are currently recruiting 10 Food Production Machine Operatives to join a reputable and well-established client in the food manufacturing industry. This is a fantastic chance to secure a long-term role with the potential to go permanent, offering job stability, training, and development.
Hours - Rotating (4 on 4 off)
7am to 7pm (shift 1 & 2)
7pm to 7am (shift 3 & 4)
Rate:
£12.21 - £18.21ph
Once permanent your salary could go up to £31K
Higher hourly Rate achieved through overtime
The Role of the Job:
- Ensuring Raw materials and packaging are available to ensure smooth running of production line
- Following start up and shutdown instructions for the plant
- Reporting of issues
- Document control - data input and accurate reporting
- Health and safety awareness for a food production area
- Working as part of a team on a production line.
- Quality checking the production process and the product.
- Ensuring the correct PPE is worn for the Job Allocated
- Working Rotating shift on a 4 on 4 off pattern
Requirements of the Individual:
- Be able to work as part of a team as well as individually.
- Must have worked as a Machine operative in food production to be successful in this role
- Comfortable with Heavy lifting
- Excellent attention to detail as reporting accurate data is essential
- Be flexible with working hours and shifts.
- Be available at short notice.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent time management
- Work well in a fast paced, high-pressured environment
- You will be required to attend the office for induction and food safety training
