Job Role
Catalyst Choices are seeking dedicated and compassionate Residential General Assistant to join our team. You’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals with their day-to-day needs, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
To provide high-quality support across multiple areas including cleaning, laundry, caregiving, and kitchen assistance, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning Duties:
Clean a full lounge daily to a high standard.
Maintain cleanliness of guest toilets, ensuring they are fully stocked with essential supplies.
Deep clean resident bedrooms, including:
Changing bed linen
Cleaning windows
Cleaning bathrooms and sinks
Laundry Support:
Assist in the laundry for approximately 2 hours per shift
Ensure residents’ laundry is handled with care and returned promptly
Kitchen Assistance:
Support the Cook with:
Food preparation
Plating up meals
Washing up and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
Assist with breakfast service until 9:30 AM.
General:
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard.
Provide occasional support with caregiving tasks as needed.
