The Best Connection Mansfield are recruiting for Despatch Operative's to work at our long established client Schoolblazer on Castlewood Business Park, Sutton in Ashfield!!
BLACK FRIDAY SALE REQUIREMENT - starting Monday 24th November!
Key Responsibilities:
- Packing orders accurately
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Ensure all goods are checked for quality and quantity before despatch.
- Maintain accurate records of despatched goods using warehouse management systems.
- Liaise with couriers and transport teams to coordinate collections and deliveries.
- Keep the despatch area clean, organized, and compliant with health & safety standards.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to health & safety and quality assurance.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or despatch environment preferred.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Basic IT skills for using despatch and inventory systems.
- Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy items.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 0800 - 16:30
Pay Rate:
- £7.55 p/h (16-17 year olds)
- £10.00 p/h (18-20 year olds)
- £12.21 p/h (21 years old & over)
- Overtime is paid at time and a third after standard weekly hours
