Crynodeb
Main duties and responsibilities are to: Perform MMPT duties including medicines reconciliation and POD locker checks Counsel patients and their carers / representatives on the safe use of their medicines Dispense and check controlled drugs, ensuring safe and correct storage and record-keeping. Perform final accuracy checks on clinically screened prescriptions to support timely supply of medicines and support the wider hospital flow Address any queries or concerns a patient, carer, or parent may have about their medication Communicate detailed, complex and sensitive information to patients/carers about drug doses, indications, side effects and efficacy. Lead on the completion of quality improvement projects and implement service innovations Support the Education and Training of other colleagues, including pharmacy assistants, pre-registration trainee pharmacy technicians, trainee and junior pharmacists Support the different pharmacy teams with the operational delivery of comprehensive clinical trials, home care and procurement services .
