Cover Supervisor / Teaching AssistantRequired as soon as possible. Temporary until 31st August 2025, in the first instance.30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Work hours: 8.30 am - 3.00 pmThe Governing Body wish to appoint an excellent and highly committed Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant to join our skilled team of staff. The focus will be on being the priority cover supervisor for absent staff as well as providing individual and group support to targeted group of learners. The successful candidates will be: enthusiastic about working with children able to deliver a range of support and intervention strategies a good communicator and team member, who is caring, flexible and approachable be able to support learners in both literacy and numeracy (up to Key Stage 4) committed to developing pupils as independent learners and thinkers able to work collaboratively reliable and able to take responsibility have an understanding of the variety of approaches necessary to support learners with a range of additional learning needs Welsh language skills are not necessary for this post. Applications may be submitted in Welsh, applications submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than an application submitted in English. The recruitment process for this post will be underpinned by rigorous safer recruitment assessment to ensure that children and young people are protected.
