Main Purpose of the Job

.

Reporting to our Contracts Manager the full time, permanent role incorporates administration functions to support the sales team and day-to-day management of our client base at various touch points throughout their contract with us. Full, in-house training will be provided. The successful applicant must be highly motivated, organised and have excellent attention to detail and thrive in a team environment.

Main Duties

.

  • Supporting the sales team to help win and renew business
  • Administering fixed penalty notices, driver licence checking, private registration plates and other in-life documentation and processes
  • Assisting the Client Support team with administration functions to support customers and their requirements
  • Step in when required to support colleagues where workload dictates
  • Administering our online chat function and mailboxes and being a general point of contact for clients
  • Opportunity to progress into a sales environment and work with quotations, vehicle suppliers, customers, tenders etc

Required Aptitude, Skills and Abilities

.

  • Proficient Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Motivated in achieving high levels of customer service
  • Strong communicator with confident telephone manner and excellent written skills
  • Interest in learning and using multiple software systems
  • Flexible, helpful, approachable, adaptable, reliable - this role will liaise with all other teams within Day's Fleet
  • Confident in contributing to regular Teams meetings
  • Highly organised with ability to multitask
  • Ability to communicate and connect with colleagues, customers, suppliers and management and take direction but also use initiative when required
  • Work well within a small team whilst also being self-motivated to work independently
  • Reacting to workload and using initiative to manage several tasks at once
  • Be numerate when working with business tasks
  • A knowledge and interest in vehicles is desirable but not essential
