Title: Contract Manager – Water
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £40,649 per annum to £44,825 per annum dependant on experience plus essential car allowance £1,300*.
Grade: 8
Reporting Office: London, Stratford
Persona: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Join our Asbestos and Water Compliance Team at L&Q:
We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our Water Team and play a key role in an essential compliance area. The role will be managing the water contractors and work alongside the Senior Water Hygiene Officer in ensuring works are completed by a high-performing supply chain. We need a well-motivated individual who is passionate about keeping our residents, our colleagues and our contractors safe.
The role reports to the Asbestos and Water Compliance Manager and the team operates within the Property and Investment Directorate
Your impact in the role:
· Strong management of the contractors who deliver essential services in ensuring ongoing compliance
· Working with the rest of the organisation to demonstrate effective compliance systems and operations
· Overseeing critical works which will maintain our KPIs and ensure that we are meeting our compliance targets and demonstrating our meeting of the requirements of both legislation and guidance
What you'll bring:
· Hold the P901 Legionella and Water Management qualification, NEBOSH General Certificate
· Has previous experience of working in the Water Pumps and Water Hygiene environment
· Knowledge of the practical application of water legislation and Water Pumps servicing and maintenance, knowledge of the servicing requirements relating to Laundry Equipment and Disabled Toilets
· Knowledge of water related databases such as Zeta and how they relate to compliance
· Good communication skills, able to work collaboratively within a team interacting with internal and external customers stakeholders at all levels. Good report writing and presenting information skills
· Able to demonstrate strong organisational and strategic planning skills, along with effective time management
