Crynodeb
The jobholder will be actively involved in providing direct and indirect compassionate care for patients in support of the multidisciplinary team. Main Duties and Responsibilities Patient Support and Flow Assist with the timely and safe movement of patients throughout the department to ensure clinics run efficiently. Provide support to clinical teams by escorting patients as required. Organise and assist with patient transfers between clinical areas. Organise transport Prescription and Documentation Handling Collect and deliver prescriptions to the Pharmacy located in the Chancellors Wing. Ensure all documentation is handled securely and delivered promptly. Environmental and Equipment Support Clean, prepare and maintain clinical equipment in line with infection-prevention standards. Report any faults, safety concerns or equipment issues to the appropriate team. Stock and Supplies Management Monitor and replenish clinical stock within the Eye Clinic, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained. Support goods delivery, distribution, and safe storage of consumables. Communication and Teamwork Work collaboratively with nurses, healthcare assistants, administrative staff, and the MDT. Communicate effectively to ensure smooth coordination of daily activities. Respond promptly to requests for assistance from clinicians and nursing team.
