Crynodeb
The job plan is designed around a Consultant Haematologist with a specific interest in non-malignant haematology. There would be the opportunity to include Myeloma or another malignant specialty within this post should this be desirable to the applicant. The post holder would be expected to take part in the Acute Consultant Week which includes covering all haematological malignancy, general haematology, haemophilia and haemoglobinopathy / red cell disorders. There is additional regional tertiary support for the haemophilia service and haemoglobinopathy service. This acute week cannot be worked part-time to ensure there is continuity of care to the patients on the ward.
