Lunchtime SupervisorGrade 1 (point 2-3) - actual salary £2850.20 - £2894.905 hours per week (Mon - Fri 12.30 - 1.30pm), term time, permanentRequired as soon as possibleWe are seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to work as part of a team to provide safe supervision and welfare needs of pupils during the lunchtime period at Great Wyrley Academy in line with the vision and values of Windsor Academy Trust. You will need to have experience working with or caring for children of a relevant age including managing behaviour along with the ability to work as part of a team.Great Wyrley Academy is part of a growing Multi Academy Trust which affords our staff many cross-phase opportunities and has recently achieved ‘good’ in all areas following its recent Ofsted inspection. We offer a very friendly and inclusive working environment where children and the community are at the heart of all we do. The post requires:Supervision of children before, during and after the meal, including the supervision of children to deposit leftover food from plates into receptacles provided.Supervision of children bringing sandwiches - to oversee that the debris left by children with packed lunches is removed/cleaned.Wiping tables and ensuring eating areas are cleaned between sittings, as required.Picking up litter and maintaining cleanliness of the dining hall and surrounding areas during the lunch period.Summoning help, where necessary, in case of injury or illness and providing basic first aid for minor injuries.Closing date: Monday 1 December 2025 at 9amGreat Wyrley Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
