Landmarc Support Services are proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated Training Area Supervisor to join our team on the Defence Training Estate.
This is a chance to play a vital role in supporting UK Defence by ensuring training areas and ranges are safe, well maintained, and fit for purpose. You’ll be leading a team, managing contractors, and delivering high-quality service that directly supports military training operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire your team, overseeing daily operations including performance, attendance, welfare, and capability
- Monitor usage and ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standards
- Deliver essential maintenance tasks across the Defence Training Estate
- Manage contractors and oversee reactive and planned work to meet customer needs
- Ensure compliance, conduct risk assessments, and maintain accurate records
- Promote continuous improvement and environmental best practices
- Support your team and take on additional tasks to ensure smooth operations
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven line management experience with strong communication skills
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance and safe working practices
- Familiarity with workload scheduling and work order processes
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and bespoke software)
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety (COSHH, manual handling, IOSH Managing Safely)
- A full UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role
