Introduction
I am a lady with a Visual impairment and have a guide dog to support me to get around when needed. I am a very social person and go to regular coffee mornings to meet with friends and a club for the Visual Impaired, I like going to Theatre and Cultural Events. I love shopping so I like to browse a lot. I love Books, gardening and music. I used to be in a choir and will probably join up again in the New Year. I also go to London a few times a year on the train.
Duties
I like to do all my cooking one day a week and would like support to do this,
I would like the support and guidance when going to my medical appointments,
I also need the support going to Social Events.
Someone who is prepared to accompany me to London on the train.
Hours – 10 hours a week, with occasional overtime
Rate - £12.21
Essential Requirements
Driving licence required and own a car,
Flexibility, interpersonal skills, be willing to go to different places like London,
Must like dogs, Work in the school holidays.
Desired Experience
someone who has experience with working with disabilities
Someone who would be willing to go to Sighted Guide Training
