A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 17 year old girl living in the Llwynypia area and I am diagnosed with physical and global developmental delay. I use a walking frame for short distances and have use of a specialised wheelchair.
I really enjoy swimming, going for food in McDonalds and going out shopping.
I have a diagnosis of ASD.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To support me to access the community and take part in activities I enjoy. Also to help me develop social skills and make me more independent.
RATE(S) OF PAY
£13.30 per hour plus 40p where applicable.
HOURS OF WORK
I have 6 hours per week available
TASKS CAN INCLUDE
Taking me swimming.
Going out shopping with me.
Taking me for food in places like McDonalds.
Supporting me to enhance my independence and social skills.
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
Driver with business class insurance is preferred.
Someone who is reliable and punctual.
A kind and caring person.
Someone willing to build a relationship with me.
ABOUT THE JOB
This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.
All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.
Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.
Wages will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
