Administrator – Law Firm

Location: Gateshead
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 (DOE) PRO RATA
Hours: Full-time, Temporary 6 months ( Maternity Cover)

The Company

I’m supporting a well-established and reputable law firm who are looking to add an organised and proactive Administrator to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a professional environment within legal support.

The Role

As the Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. You’ll support solicitors and fee earners, manage documentation, and provide excellent service to clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling incoming calls, emails and client enquiries

Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence

Maintaining accurate case files and updating the case management system

Managing diaries, scheduling appointments and organising meetings

Supporting with photocopying, scanning, filing and general admin

Greeting clients and managing front-of-house duties

Processing incoming and outgoing post

Assisting with compliance tasks including ID verification

Ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times

About You

Previous administration experience (legal admin preferred but not essential)

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills

Confident communicator with a professional manner

Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Positive, reliable and a strong team player
