Crynodeb
Key Responsibilities:
-Clean streets thoroughly and safely.
- Complete daily departmental documentation, including vehicle checks and basic maintenance on the allocated vehicle.
- Report incidents, accidents and any vehicle or plant damage to the Street Scene Supervisor.
- Clean internal and external parts of the vehicle during checks.
- Support or supervise additional cleansing staff in designated areas.
- Drive and manoeuvre vehicles safely and correctly, following Traffic Regulations.
- Provide guidance to the public about ongoing work and offer waste disposal information when requested.
-Follow all Health & Safety Requirements, use safety equipment, and adhere to training and operational codes of practice.
- Perform any other duties appropriate to the grade of the role.
Requirements:
-Clean Category C driving licence and driver CPC.
-Aware of Highway dangers.
-Good communication and strong customer service.
-Able to follow instructions, complete paperwork, and read maps.
-Can follow health & safety procedures.
-Experience in manual work, including safe loading / unloading.
- Able to work Bank Holidays and Weekends.
