Join Our Team as a Project Officer - Strategic Events
Are you passionate about supporting the delivery of high profile, impactful events that make a difference to Powys' residents and communities.
We’re looking for a dynamic, organised professional to lead the planning and delivery of a series of major events that support Powys County Council’s strategic and economic goals.
Come to work for us at an exciting time as we reinforce Powys County Council's position as the events capital of Wales.
About you:
What we’re looking for:
• Strong project management skills
• Experience in event planning and stakeholder engagement
• A creative, detail-oriented approach
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work collaboratively across Council service areas and with high level external stakeholders
What you will do:
You will play a key role in shaping a series of high profile events that will have a positive impact on both Powys resident and communities, and attract an increase in visitors to the county.
You will work as part of a small and dynamic team, Work in a supportive and collaborative environment,
You will make a positive contribution to the Council's key objective, to drive economic growth throughout the county.
This role will offer a unique opportunity to engage with various stakeholders in the delivery of a series of events being held in Powys in the next 18month period.
There is no DBS Check requirement for this position.
