We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about people, communities, and making a real difference. As a Neighbourhood Coach, you’ll build strong relationships with customers, help them unlock their potential, and support them to thrive in their homes and communities.

You’ll manage your own patch, which offers a variety of flats, and family homes — giving you the chance to work with a diverse customer base and tailor your approach to different needs. You’ll work independently to deliver great outcomes, whether that’s helping someone manage their tenancy, navigate a tricky situation, or connect with local support.

Day to day, you will manage tenancy sign-ups and changes, anti-social behaviour and safeguarding, as well as court work and evictions where necessary. You’ll have a holistic customer approach and build good relationships with services in the local community, ensuring you have a positive impact on the lives of our customers.

Working closely with our maintenance and lettings teams, you’ll make sure we effectively allocate empty homes, manage customers’ expectations around repairs as well as escalate any property maintenance issues.

This role is about coaching, not fixing. You’ll empower customers to take ownership of their journey, while using your insight, resilience, and judgement to guide them through challenges.

What you’ll bring:

  • A customer-first mindset and a natural ability to connect with people
  • Experience in housing, coaching, or community-based roles
  • Confidence in having honest conversations and managing difficult situations
  • A self-starter attitude and the ability to work independently
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle

To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone who genuinely cares about people - but with experience of managing a busy and varied workload. Self-starters who are good communicators will thrive, as well as someone who is curious and doesn’t shy away from having difficult conversations

This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

The closing date is Wednesday 26 November, with Interviews taking place on Thursday 4 December, in Telford.
