About The Role
You will be involved in:
- Preparing transport assessments, travel plans, and feasibility studies for development and infrastructure projects.
- Undertaking junction modelling and traffic analysis using industry-standard software.
- Supporting the design and delivery of sustainable transport strategies, including active travel and public transport improvements.
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or related discipline.
- 2–5 years’ experience in transport planning within a consultancy environment.
- Proficiency in junction modelling software (e.g., Junctions 10, LinSig) and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of UK planning process, transport policy, and design standards.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Desirable
- Experience with micro-simulation software (e.g., VISSIM).
- Knowledge of active travel design principles and sustainable transport initiatives.
