About the Role
This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity for an experienced and driven individual to lead the Accounts Payable team. You will play a key role in improving and developing a core financial function within a global manufacturing organisation.The role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who can work independently and collaborate with senior finance leaders to drive process improvements, strengthen controls, and develop the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable function.
- Review, implement, and continuously improve AP processes and controls.
- Evaluate and introduce technologies to enhance productivity and automation.
- Provide cover and support across AP activities (self-billing, banking/payments, invoice control).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with other finance teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable roles.
- Strong understanding of AP controls and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence to engage across departments.
- Flexibility to travel for training and benchmarking with other AP teams.
