About the Role
As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, representing the friendly and professional face of the hotel. Your role involves greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, answering enquiries, and supporting the catering and hospitality teams to provide an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Warmly welcome and assist guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently using the hotel’s reservation system.
Answer guest enquiries in person, by phone, or email, providing accurate information about the hotel’s services and local area.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and public areas meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Support the catering team during meal service times, including assisting with seating arrangements and guest requests.
Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate any issues to management promptly.
Maintain the reception area tidy and well-organised at all times.
Adhere to health and safety, data protection, and company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic IT skills, including familiarity with hotel booking systems or the ability to quickly learn new software.
A flexible approach to working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Strong team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Fluent English, both spoken and written.
