Job Description
General Assistant with barista experience.
Location: Brentwood School, Middleton Hall Lane, Brentwood CM15 8EE
Rate of pay: £12.50ph
Hours: 30-35 hours per week with paid overtime. (5 out of 7 days)
Weeks: Term Time only (175 Days)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for General Assistants ideally with barista experience to join the prestigious team at Brentwood School - Benugo Cafe. We are looking for engaging, fun, flexible, and approachable team member to help manage our brand new Boarding House operation and cafe.
Job Description
- Provide friendly and efficient service to students, staff, and visitors in the school
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, light snacks, and pre-prepared foods
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the café, including counters, seating, and equipment
- Restock supplies and ensure displays are well-presented and inviting
- Assist with general kitchen duties, including cleaning
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere in the café
- Support occasional school events or functions as required
- Assist with setting up and serving meals to pupils and staff
Qualifications
Barista experience, however training will be provided.
