Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a superb part-time Housekeeper opportunity with an ultra-high-net-worth family based in Berkshire. The residence is a beautifully refurbished private apartment situated within an exclusive private estate, offering a tranquil and elegant working environment.
The household is warm, respectful, and well-organised, with a small team of domestic and administrative staff working collaboratively. The Principal leads a very busy lifestyle and values privacy, discretion, and a calm, professional atmosphere. This role would suit a polished and self-sufficient Housekeeper who enjoys maintaining a high-standard, contemporary home and who thrives in a friendly yet professional setting.
Working as a professional Housekeeper in a UHNW property requires exceptional attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to maintain an organised and flawless domestic environment. The incoming Housekeeper will be responsible for all general cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe organisation, and ensuring the home is consistently presentable.
This position involves supporting the team by monitoring household supplies, maintaining order across both floors of the apartment, and occasionally preparing simple meals during periods of staff annual leave. Experience working within luxury private residences is essential.

Working Hours: 11:30 – 14:30 (15 hours per week)

Duties of a Professional Housekeeper:
Daily housekeeping across a two-floor luxury apartment
General cleaning, tidying, dusting, hoovering, floor care
Laundry management for the Principal; washing, ironing, folding, wardrobe care
Wardrobe organisation and upkeep
Stock control of household supplies; communicating needs to the PA
Maintaining immaculate presentation of all interior spaces, including terraces
Occasional basic cooking (plant-based, gluten-free recipes) during staff annual leave
Coordinating with internal and external staff members working on the estate
Respectful communication with contractors and visiting professionals
Upholding strict confidentiality and maintaining professional boundaries
Minimum Requirements:
Three or more years of private Housekeeping experience in UHNW or formal households
Two excellent checkable references
Conversational English
Right to work in the UK
High-level discretion and understanding of professional boundaries
Driving licence preferred (for occasional cover-related errands, not for daily duties)
