What You'll Be Doing
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a variety of SEND needs.
- Building strong, trusting relationships that help children feel calm, safe and ready to learn.
- Supporting emotional regulation and promoting independence through consistent routines.
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt activities and track progress.
- Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
About You
- Experience supporting primary-aged pupils with SEND is essential.
- A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or equivalent) is ideal, but passion and relevant experience are equally valued.
- You're patient, intuitive and able to recognise what a child needs, often before they express it.
- You genuinely want to help children with additional needs succeed academically, socially and emotionally.
