Job Description – Web UI & UX Designer

The Web UI & UX Designer will be responsible for designing and optimising user interfaces for web and mobile applications. The role involves translating business requirements into creative, user-friendly, and accessible digital designs. The candidate will conduct user research, develop wireframes and prototypes, create visually appealing interfaces, and collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure seamless delivery of digital experiences. This role requires both creativity and technical understanding to produce modern, responsive, and high-quality design solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct user research, surveys, interviews, and usability testing.

Analyse user behaviours, needs, and pain points to inform design decisions.

Create user personas, journey maps, information architecture, and task flows.

Develop wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, and interactive mockups.

Design clean, modern, and responsive user interfaces for websites and applications.

Create high-fidelity mockups, style guides, UI kits, and design systems.

Ensure consistent branding, typography, colour usage, and visual hierarchy.

Follow WCAG accessibility standards and ensure all designs meet usability guidelines.

Work closely with front-end developers to translate designs into functional interfaces.

Provide design assets, CSS guidelines, and interaction specifications for development.

Review front-end output to ensure accuracy and design integrity.

Support testing of UI components during development and QA processes.

Design layouts, navigation structures, dashboards, forms, and interactive modules.

Optimise user experiences across multiple devices (desktop, tablet, and mobile).

Conduct A/B testing and analyse results to inform design improvements.

Contribute to both customer-facing and internal digital platform UI/UX enhancements.

Maintain and update UI/UX guidelines, design documentation, and pattern libraries.

Ensure all designs are scalable, user-friendly, and aligned with industry best practices.

Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, tools, technologies, and design methodologies.
