Summary
The Best Connection is looking for a Stores Person for our client in Goole. This is initially a temporary position but with a view to going permanent following a successful probation period
Responsibilities:
- Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
- Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
- Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
- Updating inventory management systems regularly
- Organising and delivering goods from the store to the department that requires it
Requirements for the role:
- Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems and word processing software
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work methodically and quickly
- Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Teamwork skills and ability to work independently
Hours, Pay and Benefits:
- Rotating weekly shifts of Monday -Friday 7:00am- 15:30pm with an early finish of 13:00pm on a Friday. And Monday - Thursday 8:00am-16:30pm, 7:00am-13:00pm on Friday.
- 38 hours per week. (during training hours will be Monday -Thursday 8:00am-16:30pm, 8:00am-14:00pm on Friday)
- £13.49 per hour
- Permanent position following a successful probation period
