Recruitment Advertisement POST: Head of Pharmacy Team LOCATION: Health and Beyond and Practices within the Wolverhampton Sout East PCN www.wolverhamptonsoutheastpcn.nhs.uk RESPONSIBLE TO: PCN Clinical Director HOURS: 37.5 over 5 days (Mon Fri) SALARY: Equivalent Band 8a - £28.43-£32.05 (experience dependant) Health and Beyond and Wolverhampton South East PCN : Health and Beyond is made up of 12 Practices spanning Wolverhampton and one site in Birmingham. The combined list size for our organisation is 60+k. We proudly work within the Wolverhampton South East Primary Care Network along with another surgery in our geographical area. Job Summary: The Head of the Pharmacy Team will be an experienced pharmacist with strong management and leadership skills. They will bring experience working within general practice in order to improve the quality and safety of care offered to patients The Head of the Pharmacy Team will be responsible for all strands of pharmacy provision across all Health and Beyond Practices & associated PCN(s) roles and services i) develop and manage medicines optimisation services ii) will provide leadership on quality improvement and clinical audit iii) management of medicines safety and sharing best practice amongst the team They will be able to lead a team of pharmacists, as well as liaising with the primary care network to develop and run a high-quality service. They will be skilled in audit and quality improvement as well as being able to manage patient related clinical work.
