Job Overview
-
-Contract Support CoordinatorReporting to the Head of Performance, Innovation and Change, this role is key to ensuring a seamless and timely transition of potential candidates and Mitie employees through the Centre of Excellence. You will also collaborate with frontline hygiene teams to support the implementation of new technologies.

As part of the Centre of Excellence team, you'll work on a variety of projects, trials, and training initiatives, contributing to innovation and operational excellence across the business.



Main Duties

-
-Drive the implementation of innovative technology solutions across the Heathrow account.

-Support frontline teams in adopting and integrating new technologies.

-Deliver BICs training and assess hygiene team performance.

-Lead or assist in investigations and resolution of operational issues.

-Manage trials of new equipment and compile detailed case studies on outcomes.

-Oversee subcontractor relationships, including chairing and minuting monthly meetings.

-Collaborate with Mitie Group BS Procurement to identify and implement best-fit solutions.

-Lead or support various projects across the Heathrow campus.

-Contribute to Balanced Scorecard requirements and performance reporting.

-Partner with the wider Heathrow team on social value initiatives.

-Assist the central team with presentations and stakeholder engagement.

-Host visits for other contracts and prospective customers, showcasing best practices.

What we are looking for
-
-Strong organisational and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.

-Proven experience in contract management and vendor oversight.

-Proficiency in Maximo or similar contract management systems.

-Ability to review, analyse, and challenge quotes effectively.

-Excellent communication skills for liaising with subcontractors and engineering teams.

-Accuracy in reporting, auditing, and compliance tracking.

-Previous experience in contract support or facilities management.

-Understanding of engineering services and maintenance audits.

-Ability to complete GSAT and Heathrow Fire Awareness Training as per contract requirements.

-Flexible and adaptable approach to work.

-Demonstrated customer focus and strong service delivery skills.

-Effective workload prioritisation and time management.

-Competent in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

-Self-motivated and able to work independently.

-Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
