As our organisation continues to grow, we are seeking dedicated and empathetic Live-In Carers to join our team in Jesmond, Newcastle. Opportunities may also be available across our Yorkshire and East Midlands branches.
Role Overview
As a Live-In Carer, you will live in the client’s home and provide personalised support based on their individual needs and care plan. You will promote wellbeing, dignity, independence, and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with medication administration (full training given)
Prepare nutritious meals and support with hydration
Offer companionship, emotional support, and reassurance
Complete household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
Support with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids/equipment (full training given)
Keep clear and accurate daily records via our electronic software app in line with company procedures
Communicate effectively with family members, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
Pay & Benefits
£100 per weekday (Mon–Fri)
£150 per weekend day (Sat–Sun)
Paid daily living allowance
Paid induction and ongoing training
Opportunity to obtain additional qualifications
Long-term and stable placements
Supportive office teams across all three branches
Agreed rest breaks and a comfortable live-in environment

Requirements
Experience in live-in care or domiciliary care (essential)
Warm, caring, patient, and empathetic attitude
Ability to work independently and responsibly
Good written and spoken English
Right to work in the UK
Valid enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one
Care Certificate or equivalent preferred (training can be provided)
