Crynodeb
To distribute medicines to wards and departments. To carry out a regular top-up service, including issuing, picking and putting away. Liaise with the procurement officer when items are out of stock and make sure they are on order. Communicate any items unavailable to the REU pharmacist and nurse in charge. Fulfil to-follow items as and when they become available. Monthly expiry date checks to be carried out in all areas of REU where medication is stored To assess ward and department medicines requirements as part of the top-up service.
