Our client, a highly respected educational institution located in the charming town of Belper, Derbyshire, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Principal to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and contributing to the overall success of the school.

As an Assistant Principal (PMLD), you will work closely with the Principal and other members of the leadership team to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each student. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with students with PMLD, demonstrating a deep understanding of their complex needs and a commitment to their personal and academic growth. You will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, enabling you to effectively manage a team of dedicated professionals and foster positive relationships with students, families, and the wider community.

In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, you will be expected to contribute to the school's strategic planning, curriculum development, and ongoing improvement initiatives. You will stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in PMLD education, ensuring that our school remains at the forefront of providing high-quality, personalised learning experiences for our students.

The school offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 to £65,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
