The Opportunity

As an SEND Specialist Tutor, you'll provide personalised, one-to-one lessons for students with a range of additional learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and sensory needs.

Key responsibilities:

This role is ideal for someone who wants to step beyond the traditional classroom and make a real difference in the lives of disengaged, at-risk, or vulnerable learners. You'll plan and deliver personalised one-to-one lessons that inspire progress and boost confidence.

Position Details:
- Location - St Helens
- Position - SEND Specialist Tutor
- Type of work - Contract
- Start date - ASAP
- End date - Ongoing
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability
- Hourly rate: up to £30.00p/h
- Hours - Flexible working hours available between 8am to 4pm

Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- QTS or equivalent
- Have experience working with SEND students
- UK classroom teaching experience
- Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box

To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references.
