Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Coach Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to passenger safety. Duties
Safely operate coaches on scheduled routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service
Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during shifts
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers regarding schedules or delays
Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
Ensure the bus is clean and presentable at all times
Follow all safety protocols, including the use of safety equipment and adherence to COVID-19 guidelines where applicable
Experience
Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred
Previous experience operating flatbed or warehouse vehicles is advantageous
Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance is desirable
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record is essential
Experience with driving large vehicles such as lorries or buses is highly beneficial
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members
Familiarity with warehouse environments or delivery routes can be an asset
