We’re looking for a dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Assistant to join our Facilities Team at the Forward Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive environment that helps transform lives. Working across both our East Knoyle and Warminster sites, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming space for our clients, staff, and visitors.

What You’ll Be Doing

Support the Housekeeping Team Leader to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Carry out day-to-day cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising worktops, bathrooms, and communal areas.

Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, ironing, and supporting clients with their personal laundry needs.

Manage spillages, including bodily fluids, safely and efficiently.

Follow safe systems of work, including manual handling and infection control procedures.

Treat clients and visitors with dignity, professionalism, and respect at all times.

Work collaboratively with team members and respond positively to instructions.

Care for cleaning equipment and report any faults or maintenance needs.

What We’re Looking For
A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.

Ability to follow procedures and work to high standards.

Respect for confidentiality, client dignity, and privacy.

Flexibility to work across two sites (travel required between East Knoyle and Warminster).

Willingness to undertake mandatory training (e.g. COSHH, manual handling, infection control).

Ability to maintain accurate records and paperwork.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
