Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in overseeing all financial aspects of project delivery, including:

Managing project costs from initial estimates through to final accounts
•
Working closely with architects, engineers and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
•
Preparing and evaluating tenders, contracts and variations
•
Providing cost advice and value engineering options
•
Maintaining accurate financial reporting throughout the build lifecycle
•
Supporting smooth and professional client interactions
Quantity Surveyor Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in high-end or high-spec residential construction
• Strong skills in Quantity Surveying, cost management and budgeting
• Knowledge of modern construction methods and building regulations
• Experience in project management and contract administration
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Proficiency with construction/estimating software
• A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field
